Cristiano Ronaldo tells his critics what to Google after 3-1 defeat to Spurs

Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid were beaten 3-1 by Tottenham on Wednesday night and now look likely to qualify second from their group.
“This sort of win brings with it certain consequences in terms of making us more visible,” Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino said.

“It’s something everyone around Europe will have seen. You’ve seen today that Tottenham is a big team, playing at Wembley in front of more than 80,000 people. We now belong not only among the best teams in England but in Europe, and results like this will show people where we are going."

Despite winning back-to-back Champions League trophies, 'Los Blancos' are on the verge of crisis following an underwhelming start to the 2017/18 campaign.

Real Madrid were beaten 2-1 by newly-promoted minnows Girona on the weekend and Zidane will he hoping to turn the club's fortunes around quickly - or else he could find himself being ruthlessly sacked.

They're already eight points behind rivals Barcelona in La Liga and star man Cristiano Ronaldo has struggled for goals so far this season.

Ronaldo tells haters what to Google

The 32-year-old four-time Ballon d'Or winner has scored eight times in all competitions but has only managed one in La Liga thus far.

Ronaldo scored the consolation goal at Wembley on Wednesday night and - not in a great mood - had a message for his critics.

"I'm super calm. Today, having a good performance doesn't count for you. All it counts is goals, goals, goals," Ronaldo told reporters in the mixed area.

"My stats, I'm not going to talk about it, you go to Google, 'Cristiano Ronaldo goals' and there they are, all of them. That doesn't concern me at all."

Ronaldo has a contract until 2021 in Madrid but there have been suggestions that the Portuguese forward could extend his current deal.

"I'm very well. I don't want to re-sign," Ronaldo told reporters. "I still have four years in my contract. I don't want to re-sign."
