New details emerge of Luke Shaw and Jose Mourinho's shocking relationship

Luke Shaw and Jose Mourinho's relationship at Manchester United has completely fallen apart, according to various reports.
The 22-year-old left back returned from a foot injury two months ago but has not been given much of an opportunity in the first team.

Shaw made his second substitute appearance of the season in Tuesday night's 2-0 win over Swansea City, coming on for the final three minutes of the Carabao Cup win.
A brace from Jesse Lingard secured Manchester United's spot in the quarter-finals, joining the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City in the draw.

Mourinho was pleased with the performance following the shock 2-1 defeat at the hands of newly promoted Huddersfield Town.
"Since the first minute we felt like we were in the game, we were pressing high, we were comfortable on the pitch," Mourinho told Sky Sports. "It was good. We were solid, we were comfortable, we were in control.

"We were really comfortable, our attitude was very good. I'm really happy; no injuries so a good day for us."
Shaw joined the Red Devils for £30m in 2014 and was even included in England's 2014 World Cup squad.

However, the former Southampton teenage sensation has seen his career stall under Mourinho and his chances of booking a spot on the plane to Russia next summer seem slim.

Shaw's career at Old Trafford hanging by a thread

The Times report that the 22-year-old's working relationship with his Portuguese coach has reached a new low.
Shaw is believed to be frustrated at his lack of playing time and The Times reveal that the pair are no longer on speaking terms.

The young full-back has been criticised publicly by his manager on numerous occasions and it's no surprise their relationship is non-existent.
Mourinho has made it clear to Shaw that he is behind Daley Blind, Ashley Young and Matteo Darmian in the pecking order.

Axel Tuanzebe was given a place in the starting XI ahead of Shaw on Tuesday night and the 19-year-old took his opportunity with both hands.
